Learning Astrology -- The Booklist

I think that it would be useful to start a thread for people who are interested in learning the science of practical astrology. To begin - I am familiar with many magickal practices which reference astrology, but I have not found a solid introductory text(s) on the topic.

Thus I invite everyone who is interested in this diverse topic to share with me your book recommendations and reviews. In this rising age, interested people diserve to have access to quality material to study.  In addition, I invite everyone to post on methods of learning to read astrological charts and share their experiences. Please no useless posts.

P.S. Moderator. If you are interested - it may be a good idea to expand the forum to contain a few new threads related to these topics.

Rapahael: Guide to astrology and Private instructions

Also check up astronomical and equatorial positions of planets, instead of astrological.

Seems to me, they better suit the purpose
